Cookie and tracker policy

Information about cookies, local storage and services activated by your choices.
Principle
A cookie is a small file stored by your browser. Trackers also include local storage, technical identifiers, logs and requests to third-party services.
Carvoh uses trackers strictly necessary for operation and requests your agreement before activating optional features. Refusal of optional trackers does not block access to the platform.
Your choices
The banner lets you accept optional categories or refuse them. The buttons for accepting and refusing optional categories are offered at the same level.
You may change or withdraw your choices in your privacy preferences. Withdrawal disables the relevant optional functions; it does not affect processing already carried out before withdrawal.
The CMP choice is retained for six months. After that period, Carvoh will ask you again for your choice before activating optional trackers.
Necessary trackers
- CARVOH_CONSENT: records your CMP decision, chosen categories, policy version and decision date; maximum duration of six months.
- CARVOH_VID: random technical identifier used to link a CMP choice to its server-side evidence; it is created only when a CMP choice must be recorded; maximum duration of six months.
- Better Auth authentication session cookies: allow a signed-in session to be maintained and secure account access; their duration depends on the session and authentication configuration.
- CARVOH_LOCALE and CARVOH_COUNTRY: store a language or country preference when used to provide the localised version of the service.
- carvoh_platform_gate: stores a technical state of access to the platform when necessary for the relevant journey.
Preferences
The automarket-search-view cookie stores the display mode selected for search. It belongs to the “Preferences” category and is used only after your agreement.
Maps and geocoding
The “Maps” category activates maps and geocoding. Without this agreement, Carvoh displays an alternative without a map and does not load these services.
Mapbox may receive map requests, searched address text or coordinates. These data may constitute personal data depending on their content or association with other information.
Mapbox states that its services rely on global infrastructure and that data may be processed outside the EEA, including in the United States.
Audience measurement and application storage
Carvoh records internal view, click and contact events to operate and improve the platform. These events are retained in Carvoh infrastructure and do not correspond to an identified third-party analytics tool.
The application may use browser technical mechanisms necessary for its operation, such as cache and storage associated with its service worker. Non-essential storage must be subject to the appropriate choice.
No active marketing category
The “Marketing” category is not used on the effective date of this policy. Carvoh does not activate advertising trackers in this category.

Cookies and similar technologies
We use strictly necessary cookies to run Carvoh. Optional categories let you enable maps and interface preferences. You can change your choice at any time.
